Merge a non-app client into their app account
A client you added without the app may later join CopingCard in the app. Once they are on your Clients list with their app account, you can merge the two rows, so that everything is in the app account. The merge cannot be undone.
You need both rows on your list: the non-app client, and the client’s app account, which appears after they accept your invitation.
Merge the two accounts
Section titled “Merge the two accounts”- In the portal menu, click Clients.
- In the row of the non-app client, click the merge icon, the one with two people. A window opens with a warning.
- Under Client with Mobile app to merge with, choose the client’s app account. You can type to search.
- Read the warning and click OK.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”- The non-app row is deleted, and all its data moves to the app account.
- If the app account already has a case formulation, CopingCard keeps that one. If it has none, the one from the non-app row is used. All other data from both accounts is kept.
If the app account is not in the list
Section titled “If the app account is not in the list”The list offers the app clients that you have a relation with. Ask the client to accept your invitation first, then try again. A practice admin who does not work with the client themselves does not see them here.
